Tygwella

Tygwella is a recently re-furbished luxury 5 bedroom Holiday Home, situated adjacent to the National Trust headland at Porthcothan Bay on the beautiful North Cornwall Coast.

The house has been designed with large families or groups of friends in mind, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious outdoor terraces and decking, all equipped to a high standard to ensure that you have a great holiday.

Lanthorn House

Lanthorn House is a delightful 200 year old, five bedroom stone house full of character and original features set in lovely grounds with far reaching views over the valley to the Atlantic Ocean. The house is tucked away on an unmade, unnamed road just five minutes walk from the village pub  and Blue Flag award winning beach and is surrounded by countryside.

The Red Bouy

A small and beautiful self-catering apartment with beach access, for up to four people. Directly on the South West Coast Path at Porthcothan Beach- Cornwall. It appears in the iconic documentary the Wrecking Season, shown on BBC FOUR. This is real Cornwall. The main house with the Red Buoy apartment attached is one of very few houses on the coast of Cornwall with a garden door which opens onto the beach. It is a very special place.

Porthcothan Mill Cottage

Porthcothan Mill Cottage is a delightful property dating back to 1597, and is reputed to be the oldest building in the hamlet. It has 3 bedrooms, and is set in extensive gardens situated just 5 minutes walk from Porthcothan Bay.  Located at the end of a private road in a peaceful valley, the cottage has a range of original character features, and has been thoughtfully renovated and furnished with a mix of new, vintage and recycled furniture. Located a 10 to 15 minute drive to both Padstow and Watergate Bay, the cottage is near to some of Cornwall’s most beautiful attractions, including cliff top walks, a range of surfing beaches and excellent pubs and restaurants.

The Cuddy

The Cuddy, a five-bedroom family house superbly located on the North Cornwall Coast with outstanding sea views, available for self-catering holiday rental throughout the year. Situated on the cliff above the beautiful beach of Porthcothan, with the sand and sea just a few steps away, the house is spacious enough to accommodate a large family (or two), has access to the coastal path for walkers, and is within easy reach of good local surfing. The three-story house, built of wood and clad in slate, has a nautical feel throughout, with wooden floors painted with blue yacht paint, white walls and white curtains made from calico. A tall spiral staircase is reminiscent of a lighthouse and a huge round window looks out across the bay and down onto the beach.

Puffins

Puffins at Porthcothan Bay is a spacious family holiday house, situated directly above the beach, with magnificent views over the bay and direct access on to the North Cornwall Coastal Path and beach below.

The house was built in 1963 and has been owned by the same family ever since, with generations of children coming back year after year to enjoy the stunning setting, the beautiful beach and great surfing.

Trephyl

Well-maintained 4 Bedroom 3 bathroom house, with a spectacular setting right above the beach at Porthcothan.  There are sea views from practically every window in the house – with just a short walk down steps onto the sands.  Large open plan Kitchen/Dining Room and big sitting room with huge picture window over the beach and Atlantic.  Large utility and ‘off the beach’ showering area downstairs, while a spacious landing upstairs leads to 4 double rooms and the family bathroom.  Private sunny back terrace with stepped front gardens that feature open beach/sea views and easy access to the coast path and beach, and back to the beach shop at the top of the beach

Dolphin House

Dolphin House in Porthcothan Bay North Cornwall is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and has four bedrooms all with bathrooms en-suite.It is situated directly on the coastal path immediately above the beach.

Bay House

An exceptional, beach-front holiday home with sauna and games room enjoying outstanding views across the golden sandy beach at Porthcothan to the rolling Atlantic Ocean.  Sleeps ten -5 bedrooms/ 5.5 bathrooms (4 en-suite).

Trevethan House

Huge 7 bedroom stone house just behind the beach at Porthcothan, sleeping 13 very comfortably, with 2 sitting rooms and dining for the whole house around both the dining room and kitchen table.  Dramatic interior with large entrance hall, wide stairs, extensive accommodation and living space for 2 or 3 families.  Good sized private garden and sunny courtyard perfect for lunches or dinners out.  Located minutes walk from the wonderful and largely unknown beach of Porthcothan, with a local pub just 5 minutes walk away.

Wings

Cosy and well positioned 3 bedroom cottage in Porthcothan.  Comfortable and homely, Wings is perfect for a beach holiday with all you need within easy walking distance.  Sleeps 6 with an optional single bed (bring your own bedding and linen).  Large front garden, and sheltered rear terrace, perfect for warm evenings and sunny lunches.  Just a 3 minute flat walk to the wonderful Porthcothan beach, the local shop for papers or just a few minutes walk up to the Tredrea pub.

Penlan B&B

Penlan is situated only 2oo metres from the beautiful beach at Porthcothan Bay.  We have one double ensuite* bedroom and one twin ensuite*, both with tea/ coffee making facilites, TVs, hair dryers and free Wifi . Although the rooms are not large, they have everything you need for a restful stay and you can relax in a comfortable lounge which is solely for our guests. Breakfasts range from fruit, cereal and yoghurt to a hearty full English to set you up for the day. We are dog friendly and can help with wet clothes and kit transfer.
